Save the Date: Texas Olive Conference 2024

The Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Olive Oil (TXAOO) invites you to save the date of Friday, May 3, 2024 for our annual olive conference. Start time will be at 10:30 a.m., and we will conclude no later than 4:00 p.m. This year’s conference will be hosted by High Pasture Olives at Dogleg Ranch (2724 Kyle Ranch Road, Bandera, TX 78003).

Experienced growers along with prospective or new growers are encouraged to attend. Special guest, olive expert and Texas A&M AgriLife Program Specialist Stephen Janak will present an update of the olive industry in Texas, as well as lead several training/discussion topics that should be of interest to everyone. A visit to the field will also be included, plus plenty of time to socialize/network, ask questions and compare growing techniques. Lunch will be included on-site.

More details and a link to registration will be available in mid-March. But for now, please mark this date on your calendar and make plans to attend. We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Bandera County!
